Project Alexandria
Health insurance is not common in Egypt. Cancer treatments and blood transfusions are paid entirely out of pocket, making them unaffordable for a significant percentage of the population. We believe that health should not be dependent on wealth, and so Project Alexandria was born.
Step 1
Blood Allocation
Catalyst for Care will supply blood units for individuals diagnosed with cancer and other conditions that require transfusions. By covering these costs, we ensure that patients in need receive the necessary treatments without financial constraints, improving their chances of recovery.
Step 2
Donation Advocacy
Through targeted campaigns and outreach programs, we will actively promote blood donation to local hospitals. As we raise awareness in the community, we seek to increase the donation rate, thereby providing a consistent and reliable supply of blood units for patients in need.
